BillPayFriday is a philosophy
What's the philosophy?
To build a weekly habit of reviewing your goals, staying on top of your bills, and intentionally directing your money toward the future you want.
Where did this philosophy come from?
It’s not easy to talk about these things, but sometimes the pain becomes too much to ignore. We reach a point where we have to be honest with ourselves—we’re either forced to change, or we finally admit that what we’re doing isn’t working.
For me, the market shifted quickly. I’d made financial decisions that left us nearly half a million dollars in debt, and we were hurting. I had two young kids, my income was cut in half, and I had no available credit left to tap into. Thankfully, I have an incredible wife, and we’ve always known how to work hard.
I thought I was doing everything people said was “right,” but my family and I still found ourselves in a tough spot. So we took a hard, honest look at where our money was going, what was coming in, and—most importantly—what we wanted our long-term goals to be.
It wasn’t easy, but we became debt-free, rebuilt our credit to a strong place, and started saving and investing to build a secure future.
Today, my mission is to help you avoid the mistakes I made and build a solid, organized, and disciplined plan so you can reach your financial goals and live a more comfortable, less-stressed life.
